Ellen Lee is the founder and owner of ellee salon in Long Island City. With over 20 years of experience in New York City’s most respected salons, Ellen has built a reputation for technical precision, understated sophistication, and a deeply personal approach to hair.

Ellen began her career at Soon Beauty Lab on the Lower East Side, where she received hands-on training in both cutting and color. It was there that she cultivated a strong foundation in technique and a deep appreciation for creative expression. She went on to spend over a decade at Salon V in the West Village, where she refined her craft as a master stylist and developed a devoted clientele who valued her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and intuitive understanding of each client’s individual needs.

In May 2025, Ellen opened ellee salon to bring the elevated service and polish of Manhattan salons to Long Island City. Designed with quiet luxury in mind, ellee is a refined, welcoming space that delivers exceptional hair and an impeccable client experience—rooted in care, craft, and connection.

As both a stylist and a small business owner, Ellen is proud to contribute to the fabric of LIC and the greater Queens community, offering a high-end neighborhood salon experience that prioritizes both excellence and ease.
